Our client is an international company serving the electrical power industry with innovative testing and diagnostic solutions. The application of clients products provides users with the highest level of confidence in the condition assessment of primary and secondary equipment on their systems.
We are looking for our client in Austria (Vorarlberg):
Software Tester
with focus on embedded development
Your tasks:
- you will be responsible for the quality assurance and the testing of the software for our test systems
- you will be working in an agile team on designing, implementing and maintaining automated tests
- planning, implementation, maintaining and optimizing test environments and continuous integration systems are also part of your duties
- as an interface between development and customer support you will be responsible for defect tracking
- you will improve our development process with your new ideas
- you continually update and expand your application and technological knowledge
Your profile:
- you have successfully completed your education in information technology or electrical engineering (degree level) or you have relevant professional experience (ISTQB is an advantage)
- you are familiar with Linux and MS Windows systems, object-oriented programming
- ideally, you have knowledge of software architecture, test patterns and C/C++, C# and/or Python
- you are used to communicate in English
