Senior Software Application Engineer

 

General

GreenPeak’s Applications Team guides and assists customers to implement the GreenPeak silicon into their applications. The Applications Team works with corporate OEMs to develop new customer products from prototyping through to mass production.

Job description

  • As a team, you develop reference applications, evaluation kits and demos
  • You provide integration and development support to customers on our products and in particular on the embedded software, test applications & software development tools
  • You work closely together with customers for in-depth analysis of product and/or application implementation requirements, provide reference applications, reproduce and resolve issues and provide closed loop corrective actions with engineering
  • As Senior Software Application Engineer your in-depth expertise will be required to support customers in a professional, effective and timely manner, from project start to finish


Your profile

  • Master degree in Electronic Engineering (Ir/Ing or equal by experience)
  • Experienced (>5 year) embedded software engineer (C) with a strong appreciation of hardware development methods and with experience of co-debugging software and hardware issues
  • Experience in customer support, with a “customer-first” mentality.
  • Experience in embedded Linux SW development is an asset.
  • Knowledge on wireless communication systems is an asset.
  • Result-driven, with a strong technical intuition and a commercial flavor
  • Excellent knowledge of English, strong communicator, both in writing and speaking
  • Willing to travel worldwide occassionally
  • Self-starter and true team player
  • Problem solver, exhibits a natural tendency to anticipate on customer needs
