Version 1 is looking for a hands on Senior Network Consultant to join our network and security team based in our Dublin Head Office. The successful candidate’s primary responsibility will be to provide level 3 network and security support to a range of existing large Version 1 Managed Service customers as well as engaging as the network lead design authority on a range of infrastructure projects as they arise.  

In addition to the consulting and operational activities, this is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to develop and drive the Version 1 network and security service offering in terms of service lines and the existing network and security capability i.e. training, certification, accreditation, strategy etc.  

The ideal candidate should be a confident self-starter looking to join a fast paced exciting and progressive organization. Technically strong and willing to remain hands on with good business acumen who is interested in developing and driving the network and security service and strategy within Version 1.

Technical Attributes

  • Strong enterprise network architecture design and delivery experience
  • Strong hands on experience in the delivery of enterprise network support
  • Technically strong across all of the enterprise network and security stacks including Cisco, Juniper, Checkpoint etc.

 

Skills and Certification 

  • CCNP or above
  • Enterprise experience in the design and deliver of a range of routing, load balancing and security technology stacks i.e. Cisco, Juniper, Checkpoint
  • Experience or certification in AWS a distinct advantage
  • Business and/or security qualification a distinct advantage
