SCADA & Automation Specialist
- for SCADA design and support to offshore wind farms Our portfolio of significant, technically complex offshore wind farms is increasing worldwide. The SCADA and Software system plays an important role and we are looking for an experienced and committed SCADA Specialist for the Offshore Engineering department at our Offshore Centre of Competence in Vejle, Denmark. What are my responsibilities? As a SCADA & Automation Specialist, you will be a main technical interface in relation to offshore projects during the pre-sales and sales phase. You will also be responsible for specific engineering tasks during the execution phase. You will take part in the development of tomorrow’s SCADA & Automations system for Offshore wind farms. More specifically, you will be responsible for: • SCADA System analysis • Design of control systems(customer specific automation) • SCADA tenders • Technical support to project teams in execution phases • Technical support to sales teams in the contract negotiation phases • Interface to PLM and R&D regarding input to tomorrows SCADA & control systems What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a strong technical background and minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering and Automation, preferably combined with experience from the wind turbine business, grid developer/grid operator industries and/or SCADA/automation industries. As a person, you are self-driven, extrovert, analytical and able to create and maintain an overview of complex tasks. At the same time, you are good at networking, and you possess excellent communication skills in English. You are motivated by working in a strong technical and customer oriented environment. In this position, you should expect 10-50 travelling days per year. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
