R&D Scientist (m/f)

Your responsibilities:

  • Research and development in the areas of material technologies for microwave applications
  • Technology Scouting in related fields
  • Generating intellectual property (patents)
  • Evaluating samples according to state-of-the-art test methodologies (VNA, RCS)
  • Developing new test methods
  • Being responsible for R&D projects
  • Establishing and maintaining intensive cooperation with scientific and commercial partners worldwide
  • Participating in scientific conferences and workshops on a regular basis

Your profile:

  • University degree (MSc/PhD) preferably in Physics, Electrical Engineering or related fields
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Familiarity with Data Analysis Methods
  • Experience with Comsol, CST, Matlab or similar
  • Affinity for Solid State Physics or Material Sciences and Radar Technologies
  • Analytical approach, creativity, team spirit and pro-active attitude
  • Ability to work on interdisciplinary level and in an international environment
  • Fluency in English is required, German and/or French is considered an asset
