We are, on behalf of one of our customer in Lund, looking for a RAN Engineer.

 

Job description      

                    

Company’s  support organization is looking for an RAN Engineer with deep knowledge within the area of Radio Access Network (RAN) nodes.  The work consist of supporting customer needs for access, configuration and test of nodes. Error reports and system testing are other things you will be performing. You must be able to carry out tasks independently. You will be part of a smaller team of experts at customer site in Lund.

 

Required competence

 

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience of installing, configuration and troubleshooting RAN nodes (especially 3G and LTE).
  • Documented experience of being able to convert customer demands into cost-efficient solutions.
  • Must be thorough and capable of documenting all solutions.
  • Have experience of customer support and have good client interfacing skills.
  • Strong team working and communication skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

 

Wanted competence

 

  • RF-design competence is highly valuable.
  • Fluent written and spoken Swedish.

 

Place of Assignment

 

Fulltime in-house assignment in Lund, Sweden. Overtime and travelling may be required.

 

Assignment duration

 

Six (6) months contract with possible prolonging (long-term assignment).
