Team Horizon is seeking a Project Engineer - Wastewater for a company in Mayo with projects in Connacht. It’s a permanent position supporting the Tendering Team in management of both commercial and technical requirements associated with Tender submissions for Water, Wastewater and pumping applications in the Municipal and industrial Markets through the Northwest Region.

What you will be doing:
- Projects are primarily focused on Process/Mechanical/Electrical/ICA requirements with minor civil works included.
- Reviewing Tender documents, interpreting specifications and understanding customer’s needs.
- Developing designs and project build bill of materials to ensure accurate and value for money solutions can be provided.
- Developing P & Ids and layout Tender Drawings where required.
- Reviewing commercial terms and conditions.
- Preparation of Technical Tender submissions and supporting Health & Safety and Quality documentation.
- Where required, ensuring projects are delivered without any compromise on safety and quality, co-ordinating safety and liaising with our HSQE department.
- Ensuring submissions meet client specifications and project scopes.
- Supporting the design team in delivering innovative solutions and using modern technologies.
- Supporting project delivering team with design and procurement to achieve a successful project delivery.
- Creating the project programme and ensuring that all required project interfaces are allowed for, from design to final site commissioning and handover.
- Get involved in project delivery where required including liaising and co-ordinating all works with the client and relevant stakeholders
- Writing engineering reports, method statements and commissioning schedules.
- Any other duties as assigned.
