Production worker medical technology (m/f/d) at ABIOMED - close to Aachen

Your responsibilities will include:

• Micro-assembly work under the microscope (e.g. performing, applying various bonding techniques, micro-soldering, laser, welding and potting processes on miniature components) with the aid of tweezers, scalpel, etc.

• Adherence to all work and process instructions, including safety regulations, applicable to production, assembly and quality inspections.

• Maintaining the ERP system (storing all quantitative and qualitative data)

• Complete documentation to ensure traceability of materials and work steps

• GMP-compliant execution of work (GMP = Good Manufacturing Practice)

• Adherence to all hygiene regulations applicable to the clean room

Your profile:

• Preferably a successfully completed vocational training as a dental technician, seamstress, goldsmith, precision mechanic, mechatronics engineer or similar.

• Work experience is welcome. We offer intensive induction training for people just starting out in their careers.

• Strongly developed fine motor skills, a well-developed eye-hand coordination and a high level of concentration

• The ability to work in a team, a sense of responsibility and good communication skills combined with commitment are required.

• Basic technical understanding

• Willingness to work full-time in 2 shifts

• Very good German skills  

• Initial experience with MS Office and an ERP system and basic knowledge of English are welcome.
