As a PRODUCTION ASSISTANT you have an important and supporting role within the team. Daily, together with the planning, you create an optimal production and staff schedule and, based on this, you monitor the productivity and efficiency within the shifts. You take the necessary actions in consultation with the shift leader and you help where necessary (e.g. preparing workstations, provide labels, enter registration forms, etc.). You work closely together and in his/her absence, you replace him/her.

You give training of work instructions to production staff and you are responsible for the administration. You monitor the quality, so that the products meet the high standards of our customers. The quality team supports you in this.

Together with your colleagues from Continuous Improvement, you help with the start-up of new projects. In addition, you will be assigned tasks that you can work out and implement independently.

Every day, you ensure efficient communication and report to the team leaders and the Plant Manager, who is your direct supervisor. Because of our light structure, we can quickly realise and implement adjustments and improvements.

During your induction period, we provide good guidance. If you do not yet have the necessary skills, we offer you internal and external training. Afterwards, you will also be given the opportunity for continuous training.

Profile:

  • You have several years of experience in a similar position.
  • Production know-how is a plus.
  • You express yourself fluently English OR Dutch
  • You act with great responsibility.
