For our customer in Vilvoorde, we are looking for a Product Manager. As Product Manager, you’ll help define our product vision, strategy and product roadmap. You will collaborate and work closely with the product management, product development and QA teams. 



Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers, implementation partners and people in the field to understand the needs of the market (Listening to the voice of the customer);
  • Work with Senior PMs to further develop a good understanding of the target markets and user base;
  • You help define our product vision, strategy and product roadmap;
  • Actively participate in prototyping workshops, workout wireframes, and assist the UX Architect in perfecting these so that they can be presented to customers for validation;
  • Develop epics and user stories for new functionality based on long & short term roadmap, UX Research, and other input;
  • Present user stories to product teams, and ensure new functionality meets the defined acceptance criteria;
  • Collaborate with the Product leads, Software Architects, Agile coaches and QA officers in the engineering team to release software to the customer base;

Required:

  • Bachelor or Master degree;
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant Product Management, Product Owner or Business Analyst experience in an Agile software product development environment;
  • Experience in prototyping software;
  • Experienced in Agile methodologies (scrum, extreme programming, Kanban, etc.);
  • Experience with Agile product backlog management tools (i.e. Aha!, Jira & Confluence) and story mapping tools;
  • Have you developed your own software/website/app? Great!
  • Background in any of the following is a plus: Metadata Management, data management, Data Quality, Reference Data, Big Data, Data Lake Management, BI and analytics, Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence;
  • Fluent in English;
