NKT in a global role 

As Group HSE Manager – Management Systems you will be working closely with our teams across NKT to ensure our Global HSE Management is developed and used across all business lines and NKT sites worldwide as a key component in a more transparent, safe, efficient and professional way contribution towards our zero injuries goals and higher maturity level requirement across our company.

Your most important responsibilities as Group HSE Manager – Management Systems will be:

Owning and being a super user of the NKT Group HSSE Management system and ensuring our Global HSSE Management is developed and prepared for the future – to be transparent and used across all business lines and NKT sites worldwide. You will lead and coordinate various internal safety improvement programs together with our HSE Council team.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Coordination of behavior based safety programs roll out to all NKT sites and business lines
  • Ensuring the management and setup of HSE related software, budget, cost and frame agreement processes with vendors
  • Joining the enhanced maturity level road map project (Bradleys curve/Safety Culture Ladder) and act as coordinator and go-to person
  • Preparing HSSE related presentations (newsletters, executive reports, training materials, Safety Moments, Learnings across)
  • Ensuring Management System related to Business Continuity/Security; emergency response preparedness and developing response plans, e.g. coordinating required training, drills and improvements

Please note, that this role can be located in Malmø, Berlin, Broendby, or Cologne, and requires availability for business travel around 2-4 days/months in average, mainly in Europe.

Requisiti professionali

Qualifications:

To thrive in this role you are able to work independently, be structured, have a “do’er”-mindset, effectively write simple procedures and have both people skills and a process value adding mindset, so you can act as a safety role model for your colleagues. As an experienced advocate of a safety culture, you are a team worker who listens and executes as well as inspires others to make changes, and who takes part in the energetic transformation.

You should also have:

  • Successfully completed a university degree, for example but not limited to: Safety or Quality Engineer (Bsc/MSc), Production / Mechanical Engineer (Bsc/MSc)
  • More important than your field of study is your experience (several years), with a strong safety background in technical/industrial environment
  • HSSE Management systems knowledge: ISO 9001, 45001, 14001, 50001
  • Experience building and maintaining management systems and related HSSE process frameworks
