Function information
The Mechanic Technician is responsible for the installation of air conditioning systems, mechanical installations (cooling, heating, steam systems). You work independently or in a team with customers domestically and abroad. In addition, you are responsible for commissioning of these installations. Your responsibilities include:
- Installation of air climate systems and equipment.
- Monitor the quality of the project.
- Ensuring own safety and security, as well for subcontractors.
- Planning and organizing activities locally.
- You can move up to the position of coordinator / supervisor at installation abroad for hiring engineers and firms.
You must be ready travel around the world! The frequency is different for each project. This may be from a few days to a few weeks. You will be> 50% of your time away from home.
Job requirements
To qualify for the job Mechanic Technician, the requirements are:
- Secondary technical education or working and thinking level in mechanical engineering.
- Languages: English and German.
- Willing to travel up to 50%.
- Competencies: pragmatic, motivated, communicative and flexible.
Working conditions
Salary related to the temporary employment relation and business cooperation are dependent on knowledge and experience. After a paid employment period in the Netherlands, you can work independently from your country. Cooperation is based on hourly invoices. So you will work as an entrepreneur. Housing and transportation are arranged during the stay in the Netherlands.
