Antwerp EuroTerminal is the Home Terminal of the well-known Grimaldi lines services to West Africa, South America and the Mediterranean and it serves various multipurpose vessels. An extensive amount of cargo is delivered or collected here daily through various channels. We are specialized in handling passenger cars, trucks, and everything on wheels, but also containers, general cargo, and project cargo. Antwerp EuroTerminal employs more than three hundred people daily in Verrebroek.

Currently we are looking for a:

 

Mechanic (Verrebroek, Beveren)

 

You will be employed in our vehicle processing center where new cars receive their perfecting touches before being handed over to the Benelux car dealers. Cars that suffered damage during transportation are being repaired in our bodywork- or mechanic workshop.

 

· You perform computer diagnosis on cars and analyze malfunctions to determine what repair is needed.

· You carry out the necessary mechanical or electrical repairs.

· You support colleagues with general maintenance tasks.

Requisiti professionali

· You can rely on a strong experience in automotive mechanics and can self-diagnose a mechanical problem. You have a good knowledge of electronics.

· You can easily determine your own priorities.

· You are cooperative and lend a hand to others when needed.

· You can work under pressure and keep an eye on your work pace, whilst delivering high quality work remains your focus.

For this position, we are pleased to offer a full-time contract. Depending on the experience you already have, you can attend training courses to expand your knowledge. At AET you will find yourself in a growing, impressive working environment with a family-like atmosphere. Your working hours are fixed: Monday-Friday from 7 am to 3 pm. In addition to your salary, you will receive meal vouchers. Health insurance is offered after a period of 6 months under a fixed contract.
