Are you motivated by leading a team to execution of a strategy, giving life to a vision? And do you also get a kick out of seeing things happen to a deadline? If so, we are looking for you to lead our team as the new Market Communications Manager at Danfoss Power Solutions. The position is located in Nordborg and requires travel activity of approx. 15%.

Team lead, launch and campaign planning – ‘working leader’ assignments As the Market Communications (MarCom) Manager, you will lead the European Market Communications team – in execution of the global strategy, coordination of tasks among the team players, global on-line campaigns and launch planning alignment, global literature coordination, events and exhibitions, and specific regional initiatives. You will ensure commitment to the MarCom strategy, fostering a data driven mind-set as well as continuous evaluation of the marketing mix. You will be responsible for regional administrative and personnel management issues and for the regional MarCom budget for your area. The job will also include participation in projects across the Danfoss Group. Your key tasks will be: •Defining, optimising and executing the strategy – leading activities within the team according to vision, targets, plans, priorities, KPI-follow-up and results •Nurturing an environment of a strong team that add value as marketers, working with Business Units and Sales on active leads generation, supporting the sales process •Actively developing the team competences at team and at individual level, and coaching team players in optimising work processes, execution and decision making •Carrying out the performance management process and goal setting with team players •As a ‘working leader’, proactive involvement in launch planning, digital engagement in marketing, overseeing the planning of major events & exhibitions, fostering focus on customer values, goals and results, and ensuring that commitments are kept Strong communicator/networker with a passion for marketing and marketing tools You have a Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Communications, or similar and some years of relevant experience in a B2B context. Furthermore, you have leadership experience, generally a sound business understanding, and you enjoy working in a highly matrix-structured, multicultural environment. Most important, however, is your ability to interact and communicate with multiple stakeholders at all levels in the organisation - finding common grounds and making decisions. As we work globally, you have excellent English skills, verbally as well as in writing. On a more personal note, you are open-minded, energetic, structured and able to work independently.
