We are looking into a wide range of new projects and therefore are looking for an experienced Lead (Project) Architect to join the Architecture & Design department. The successful candidate will become part of a community of highly skilled and passionate professionals who contribute to helping our clients.

We design and execute R&D laboratories and facilities, launch plants and full-scale manufacturing plants. NNE supplies a complete spectrum of services– from preliminary feasibility studies to final hand over to our clients.



In our department, Architecture & Design, we specialize in conceptualizing, designing and engineering services within the architecture and logistics disciplines– across all project phases.

How you might spend your days

As a Lead (Project) Architect, you'll be working with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team where you will

  • liaise with client representatives, project managers, contractors as well as colleagues from other departments to successfully lead the efforts of the team of architects on a given project
  • be responsible for ensuring that we stay on track and deliver as per agreement with our clients in terms of time, cost & quality
  • be responsible for leading a team of architects, constructing architects and logistics specialists, ensuring that Task and Individual demands are balanced, while ensuring successful project completion

A selection of responsibilities include, but is not limited to

  • leading a team of architects, constructing architects and logistics’ engineers
  • participating in workshops with clients and colleagues to ensure alignment of scope, progress, scheduling – etc.
  • being responsible for delivering on design parameters such as progress, quality and cost parameters - to name but a few
  • supervising the execution of engineering efforts, tender specifications and documentation, disciplinary reviews, tender issues and engaging in contract negotiations
  • collaborating with specialists to ensure full compliance with GMP, constructability, local authority requirements, building and fire codes – etc.
  • following the project through the construction phase and final hand over to the client

The nature of the work of a Lead Architect in NNE demands that you are resilient, and able to effectively handle team and project related dynamics – and in addition your team leadership skills and design competences must be of the highest order.

  • will interface with the department manager on a regular basis in order to evaluate, and where necessary,  adjust  the performance of our team efforts.

The miles you’ve walked

To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to succeed in this role:

  • Graduate Diploma in Architecture or Constructing Architect ( Bygningskonstruktør ) or the equivalent
  • 10 years+ experience relevant professional experience – preferably within the pharmaceutical, life-science or industrial building sectors
  • Documented experience as Lead/Project Architect on a least 3 fully finalized projects – Medium to Large scale projects is a prerequisite
  • Fluent in Danish and English - spoken & written
