The café Krøderen Kro is idyllically located by the Krøderfjord, near Norefjell in Buskerud County. Popular roadside café with accommodation and cafeteria, serving Norwegian traditional food as well as steak and hamburgers, etc. Many regular and occasional guests.

We are looking for a Cook/Kitchen staff and Café staff for the summer season 2025

Job Tasks Café staff:

  • Operate cash register
  • Set up hot food
  • Cleaning/wash dishes
  • General cleaning
  • Room cleaning
  • Room booking system

Job Tasks Cook/Kitchen Staff:

  • A la carte
  • Food production
  • Prepare cold and hot dishes
  • General cleaning
  • Knowledge of Norwegian food culture, or the desire to learn, is preferred

Work Period: You must be able to work from around May 1st/June to September 1st (for cooks until October or November due to paternity leave).

Start Date: By agreement

Type of Employment: Part-time 80%

Working Hours: Shift work, daytime and evening, all days

Working Language: Norwegian, English or Scandinavian

Requisiti professionali

**You are a EU/EFTA citizen, or you have a valid work permit in Norway**

Language: Norwegian, Scandinavian or English.

We are looking for someone who can handle a hectic workday, is efficient, and can take initiative and responsibility. It is important that you are willing to learn and familiarize yourself with the tasks. You must be able to work independently and collaborate well in a team. Some experience is an advantage.

You must be able to work from around May 1st/June to September 1st (for cooks until October or November due to paternity leave).
