As the Industry 4.0 / IoT Expert, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of new manufacturing equipment integrations using Industry 4.0/IoT based software solutions.

 

Responsibilites

  • Development and implementation of new manufacturing equipment integrations using Industry 4.0/IoT based software solutions
  • Analyze equipment behavior and work independently on complex requirements, specifications and implementations
  • Coordinate with internal customers and external equipment vendors
  • Documentation and planning of equipment integration software solution projects
  • Maintain and further development of existing equipment integration software solutions based on industry standards as SECS/GEM, OPC, MQTT
  • Continuous improvement of existing equipment integration software solutions
Requisiti professionali

Your Profile

  • 5+ years working experience as Equipment Integration Specialist or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in the field of smart automation, smart production and management, computer science, software engineering, automation, electrical & electronics engineering
  • Excellent knowledge and experience:
    • At least of one programming language like: C#/NET/TypeScript/Node.js
    • Working with databases such as MS SQL
    • Implementing Industry 4.0 / IoT based projects
    • Features:
      • Experience with communication protocols such as SECS/GEM, OPC UA/DA, MQTT
      • Experience in integrating manufacturing equipment to host systems such as MES or SCADA
      • Test-Driven development methodology
  • Excellent inter personal skills to work effectively with our internal customer Manufacturing, Engineering and Equipment teams
  • Excellent organizational time management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Our salary packages are competitive, take individual qualifications, and experience into consideration. In accordance with the Austrian collective labor agreement, we advise you that the minimum gross annual salary for this role is 45.000,- Euro.
