Are you an experienced electrical engineer with substantial work experience within electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)? We are responsible for handling all EMC aspects in the design and development phase and are, furthermore, involved in international standardisation activities. Design and development of EMC compliant products
As EMC engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of new products at Danfoss Power Electronics. Your job will be to ensure that the designed frequency converters comply with the specified EMC standards. Overall, you will participate in product development projects from the early concept phase to the final release of the product. More specifically, you will:
•Provide input to overall product concept and requirements
•Provide input to PCB stack-up and layout
•Design and verify build-in EMI filters
•Verify EMC performance and robustness on product level through tests and simulation
•Assist in EMC trouble-shooting, in-house or at the customer
We currently hold strong in-house design tools and test facilities, and you can look forward to a highly technical environment with eight EMC engineers and technicians a s your new colleagues. You will be based in Graasten, and you should anticipate 10-15 travel days per year.
Analytical electrical engineer with solid practical experience
You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or have completed a similar technical education. You have practical experience within development of electronics – and preferably within power electronics. Possibly, you have hands-on experience with EMC testing (e.g. conducted and radiated emission) and are familiar with the EU basic EMC standards. Besides, you are proficient in written as well as spoken English. Last but not least, you thrive on working in teams and have a positive and constructive work attitude.
