EIA Coordinator - Renewable Energy Planner

Our client is looking to further expand their team with an experienced Planner/EIA coordinator in Ireland. You can be based in Dublin or Cork with the option to work remotely also.
The successful candidate will take a lead role in the delivery of a variety of planning applications and EIA projects including onshore wind, solar, green hydrogen and work in other business sectors, also supporting business development activities in the low carbon sector, including proposal activity.
Job Description
What will you be doing?
Within this exciting role, you will manage a range of planning applications and EIA projects taking them from initial inception through to consent and discharge of planning conditions. The work will involve business development and coordination of a range of in-house and external technical specialists together with taking the lead on the preparation of a range of high quality technical reports.
You will have the opportunity to work within an experienced team and be involved in a series of exciting challenges with one of the leading environmental consultancies in Ireland. The successful candidate should hold a relevant Planning or EIA related degree or post-graduate qualification (or equivalent), along with a sound knowledge of the Irish planning system and the EIA process.

If you are interested in this opportunity we would love to hear from you, but we would envisage that you would be able to demonstrate the following:
- EIA related degree and either holding professional qualification working towards membership;
- Good knowledge of the Irish Planning system and EIA Regulations;
- Good report writing with an understanding of EIA methodologies and experience of reviewing related reports;
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. An ability to work as part of a team, and to manage a team of internal or external consultants;
- The ability to deliver projects within deadline and budget constraints.
