Can you maintain robust product designs while continuously improving quality and reducing cost? Are you good at meeting deadlines? Then we have an opening for you as Design Engineer in Danfoss Industrial Cooling.

You will be part of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Control’s R&D and Engineering organisation in Danfoss. Here, you will join an experienced team of six dedicated colleagues in our engineering team, reporting to the Engineering Director.

Design, development, and cost optimisation As Design Engineer for industrial refrigeration and valves, your overall mission will be maintenance of robust product designs while continuously improving quality and reducing cost. Specifically, your key tasks will be to: •Lead the cross-functional team in designing change activities arising from continuous improvements of quality and cost •Design and implement customer-specific adaptations •Drive engineering efforts in quality issues affecting customers and/or manufacturing •Address issues arising from design or bill of material mistakes •Actively participate in quality improvement activities •Coordinate changes with factories in China and India •Participate in new product development Projects Quality mind-set and experience with design of mechanical products You have a background as a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (mechatronics or mechanical engineering) with experience in the design of mechanical products. In addition, you have experience with 3D CAD and excellent communication skills in English, both in writing and speech. Mastering Danish will be considered an advantage. On a more personal note, you are a team player with good networking skills. Last but not least, you have a strong drive and are persistent when solving your tasks.
