We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Finance Associate (m/f) fluent in English to join our client's dynamic operation in Lisbon and support the USA region. Our client is a globally recognized leader in biotechnology rooted in science and innovation, dedicated to transforming groundbreaking ideas and discoveries into life-changing medicines for patients with serious illnesses.

Your Mission:

·      Record all transactions according to local accounting principles, corporate instructions, and procedures/policies.

·      Apply cash daily and promptly follow up on any collection issues.

·      Ensure clean AR ledgers.

·      Perform cash collections activities – planning, implementing, and proper follow-up in collaboration with internal and external customers.

·      Act as the dedicated point of contact for customers and the company’s local offices.

·      Keep customer master records up to date.

·      Conduct creditworthiness analysis, including credit limit monitoring.

·      Handle sales orders in compliance with CF Policy and the company’s values.

·      Properly document SOX requirements on time.

·      Ensure CF Policy awareness and conformity.

·      Assist in month-end reporting activity and ad-hoc requests.

·      Suggest improvements on policies and procedures within SSC and processes (Customer Finance related and cross-functional).

·      Work actively on improving the usage of systems/applications in daily activities.

What You'll Need:

·      Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance/Accounting.

·      High proficiency in English, both oral and written communication.

·      Fluency in at least one other European language.

·      1 to 3 years of related professional experience.

·      Good computer skills in the Microsoft Office environment and ERP systems.

·      Experience with Accounts Receivables processes and procedures.

·      Strong analytical skills, service-oriented attitude, and team player mentality.
