Due to our business expanding, we currently have an opportunity for a hardworking and self-motivated individual to join our Food & Beverage team as a Commis Chef.
The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative, be reliable, a good communicator, a team player and have a passion to work in the hospitality industry.
The objective of this role is to gain knowledge of all culinary offerings throughout the kitchen. A Commis Chef prepares food and carries out basic cooking tasks under the supervision of a more senior chef.
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities
- To assist the Head Chef so that the kitchen operations run smoothly.
- To adhere to our HACCP system.
- To work as a team. Teamwork makes the dream work.
- To respect all members of staff throughout the hotel.
- To adhere to health and safety regulations of the hotel.
- To complete relevant paperwork.
- To report for duty on time and in a full neat tidy uniform.
- To carry out duties to the best of your ability.
- To follow the guidance of the senior team and be willing to learn.
