Waiter responsible for the dining room in a 5-star hotel. 
Takes care of table mise en place, welcomes guests and accompanies them to their assigned table.
Explains the dishes on the menu and answers any questions.
Has knowledge of food and wine.
Supervises dining room service. 
Ensures that standards of service, cleanliness and refinement are maintained.

In high-end hotels, the Chef de rang oversees service in the dining room for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets for events.

He wears a uniform specific to his role.

Requisiti professionali

EXPERIENCE AS CHEF DE RANG PREFERABLE

kNOLEDGE OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Good knowledge of the Italian language

 

Requisiti preferenziali

Additional and optional knoledge of German.
