Currently, we give support to ALTEN on European level in searching of candidates, mainly for IT/ Telecom and Engineering positions. For one of our clients from automotive sector based in Brussels, we are looking for experienced Brake System Design Engineer. The main responsibilities for this position are: The brake system designing Finite Element Analysis for structural strength optimization Team management and trainings Organizing and conducting process reviews Introduction and consolidation of improvements in the engineering process Supplier follow-up and feasibility review.

The candidate we are looking for should have the following skills:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in engineering field
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in similar position
  • Good knowledge of Automotive brake systems, either brake pad design, brake disc design or brake system design background
  • Perfect command of English is the only language requested
  • Knowledge of German, French or Japanese are considered important assets
