Join a team consisting of highly skilled specialists
You will join a multicultural team in Dubai, consisting of 13 specialists, all with vast experience in the realm of PLC Software Modules. We are an organised team where everyone is focused on the tasks at hand and value collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Upon joining our organisation in Dubai, where you will also find a few Danish colleagues, you will be guided to settle in both socially and professionally. You can be sure to be properly introduced to your tasks and receive extensive training before handling assignments on your own.
Develop Conveyor PLC software modules
As an automation engineer, you will be using and developing your technical skills through a wide variety of projects and once you are settled in the team and your tasks, the job will take you travelling on various BEUMER projects worldwide. To be specific, you will be working to develop standard Conveyor PLC software modules using Siemens Step 7 Software. Thus, you will be:
- Unit testing PLC Software Modules in emulation environment
- Preparing software specification and test specification documents
- Developing project-specific PLC codes using Library models
- Participating in Factory Acceptance Tests
- Carrying out on-site testing and commissioning of Conveyor PLC Systems
Technical understanding and collaboration skills
- You have a MSc or BSc in electrical engineering, automation engineering or a similar technical background.
- You have basic programming skills in Siemens Simatic Manager Software V5.5 as a minimum (Statement List /Ladder programming language). Experience in Siemens S7300/S7400 PLC programming is advantageous.
- You have solid knowledge of Ethernet, Profibus DP and MS office Excel and Word.
- You communicate fluently in written and spoken English.
