Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort is one of Finland's best-known and most talked about travel destinations. This family business, founded in 1974, is in Saariselkä, Lapland. Kakslauttanen hosts around 30,000 visitors each year, many of them are from abroad. The guests include several high-profile visitors, media, and international filming crews. Among others, Kakslauttanen has served as the location for Ralph Lauren and Vogue fashion shoots, the new TV show from Top Gear creators, The Grand Tour, Sports Illustrated as well as hundreds of travel programs. During the winter season, the hotel employs over 100 people from 25 different countries. The working language at the hotel is English.

We are looking for energetic and cheerful bellboys / bellgirls & guides with lots of positive attitude to work. Employment will commence around November. As winter is the peak season, working days can be sometimes very busy. Applicants should possess the ability to work quickly and cope with pressure.



The role will involve:

Greeting and guiding guests at the airport

Describing places to guests

Guiding guests outdoors

Escorting groups

Providing directions

Driving guests in the resort and in the area

Luggage handling

Requisiti professionali

Desired qualifications, skills, and experience:

Fluent in written and spoken English. Other languages are considered an advantage.

Previous experience of working in an international hotel is considered an advantage

A proactive attitude and excellent customer service skills

Ability to work independently

Previous experience as cross-country ski instructor is considered an advantage

Previous experience of ice-fishing is considered an advantage

A driving license
