Located in the heart of the hotel, Dalen Hotel has Norway's most charming little bar. Cocktails have been served here since the opening in 1894 and the classic cocktails that were popular during the hotel's heydays, from the beginning until the 1930s, are still often served here.
The bar is seperate from Restaurant Bandak but you will work closely with the restaurant that have a classic fine dining service and our French food philosophy dates back to the hotel's opening in 1894.
We strive to take the guest s back in time and show them that both service and dining follow classic etiquette rules is something we strive for every day.
The Bar Manager will assist the restaurant manager with the daily operation, the development of our beverage selection . During service, you will assist the waiters with drinks, and handle the bar area and terrace.
About you:
- Experience from similar positions
- Genuinely interested in creating the best guest experience
- Detail oriented
- Knowledgeable and interested in food and drinks
- Good collaboration skills and is solution-oriented
- Structured and responsibile
- A positive attitude
- Fluent in English
Tasks:
- Responsible for the bar area.
- Devellopement of bar menu
- Assist Restaurant Manager in daily beverage related tasks such as cocktail pairings for dishes
