We are looking for a dedicated, flexible and quality-conscious Mechanical engineer for our Design Center in Hobro, to help us developing new zero emission products for various markets. Zero-emission fuel cell electric products will positively change the lives of the next generation.
You will be a key person in different projects from Marine, Motive and Backup Power applications.
Your main tasks as mechanical engineer will primarily be 3D CAD design, mechanical calculations and documentation.
At Ballard you will be a part of a rapid growing business with a strong team focused on delivering fuel cell power for a sustainable planet.
Responsibilities:
- Perform 3D-design in Solidworks, PDM and Composer.
- Sheet-Metal construction.
- Concept design and brainstorming.
- System design and integration of Fuel Cell module.
- System design and integration of complete system.
- Cooling- and ventilation-systems.
- Initial design 3D CAD and prototype builds.
- Generate Assembly drawings, part drawings and part lists for prototypes and final product.
- Maintain and update existing drawings and documentation.
Requirements:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Must have +3 years of experience within the field.
- Experiences in 3D CAD: Part design, Assembly and Technical drawing.
- Experience with Axapta or other ERP-systems
- Experience with Microsoft office package.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
