Profile
Minimum required criteria
- Be a current Certifying Staff EASA Part 66 CAT B1
- Having proven experience in aviation and having successfully completed at least the last two EASA Part 145 competence assessments
- Be prepared to work in a team and on irregular shifts
- Accept Duty Travel
- Be rigorous and self-motivated
- Be familiar with standard office applications
- Show user skills in the tools used in Luxair Technics
- Show good communication skills in English as well as skills in French or German (spoken and written)
- Provide advanced knowledge of inspections and maintenance procedures for all aircraft models and systems which compose Luxair’s fleet
- Provide advanced knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials
- Show good organizational skills
- Show a good sense of priorities
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company
- Show the ability for clear expression in writing
- Be capable of working independently
- Maintain the strict confidentiality of the data
- Attend and pass successfully all mandatory trainings according to the area of activity
The ideal candidate
- Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as asset

Main duties
- Perform and sign-off/release maintenance on Aircraft according to the privileges given by the company and limitations given by EASA Part 66 and EASA Part 145
- Take trouble shooting decisions to ensure a rational rectification of a technical defect (root cause) with the use of the approved maintenance data
- Provide regular feedback on job progress, discovered defects and encountered problems to the directly concerned persons
- Inform the Team Leader Maintenance about every delay or job cancellation with adequate motivation
- Ensure that Work Orders are completed with necessary information according to internal procedures in place
- Perform single check control and additionally perform double control (DC) for critical tasks
- Raise deficiency reports and provide technical advices to Team Leader Maintenance or Maintenance Coordinators when required
- Ensure that working place and tools are always kept clean, well ordered and complete
- Occasionally assure support on demand to the concerned department if proper instructions or training were received
