Responsibilities:
- For operational accounting & finance related topics the Accounting / Finance Service Desk Clerk is the first contact person for key internal and external stakeholders
- Providing basic solutions to raised issues following proscribed guidelines and escalate as necessary in a timely manner
- Resolve customer queries/complaints related to a broad range of Accounting/Finance processes as specified by relevant SLAs and escalating queries/complaints as appropriate
- Processing general requests autonomously
- Achieve performance objectives agreed with Shared Services Center Manager
- Propose, evaluate and implement process improvements in collaboration with Process Experts
Required Skills, knowledge and abilities:
- Experience of working within SAP will be an asset
- Ideally experience of working within the accounting areas
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve quickly is also crucial
- General understanding and basic knowledge of accounting processes
- SSC experience is an advantage
- Good working knowledge MS Office
- Fluent in German and English language
