Home for the Elderly people Preddvor (DSO Preddvor) is a public social welfare institution whose main activity is the institutional care of the elderly.
Institutional care is a form of treatment in an institution, another family or another organized form that replaces, supplements or ensures the function of a home or one's own family for beneficiaries. It includes basic care and social care in accordance with social care regulations and health care in accordance with health care regulations.
Basic care includes accommodation, organizing meals, technical care and transport.
Social care is a professionally managed activity intended to implement the contents of social prevention, therapy and management of beneficiaries.
Health care means providing assistance in maintaining personal hygiene and performing daily activities (getting up, dressing, moving, walking, communicating and orienting).
Admission, transfer and discharge of a user when exercising the right to institutional care is carried out on the basis of the Rules on Procedures for Exercising the Right to Institutional Care. The procedure for admission to the institution begins with the submission of an application for admission to institutional care.
