The Global Information Technology (IT) is actively working on rationalizing and streamlining the diverse technological landscape within the Group. This ongoing initiative bears many aspects and lead to many projects mobilizing the overall workforce of the company. 

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

The Company has recently renew one of its key platform. The Company’s evolution to its leading brand needs consistency to market, and therefore it is paramount to standardize approaches, brand and information management. 

With Geneva Web Team and under its governance and methodology guidelines, the Sharepoint Specialist will work closely with the Intranet team, The Company Information-technology staff and offshore teams to ensure business and technical needs are met and task Projects are completed on time under his responsibility, according to the Project Objectives and the expected quality assurance standards.The SharePoint Specialist will participate actively to enhance, maintains and develop this Intranet day to day. This is key for our platform success. The right candidate should be technical oriented, project oriented and at ease with deadlines. He should be able to support the development and integration of our global Intranet features, deployment, enhancements, technical solution with our Providers or Intranet Champions (Key Super Users) within our Headquarter and Agencies. He should be able in case, to do himself SharePoint changes / developments in the platform regularly. 

Functionally report to the Web Team Leader in Geneva. Hierarchically reports to head of Development in Torino / GVA IT Director accountable for OneVision Development Services. 

Role: 

• Design, develop and implement SharePoint solutions 

• Development role and Project Management skills 

• Manage developments (priority, type, etc…), coordinate and plan efficiently 

• Daily manage our Intranet solution, Insure functional and technical support 

• Sharepoint Provisionning mechanisms 

• Proactively monitor functional or technological developments & track bugs 

• Collaborate with different teams in HQ and Agencies 

• Solve problem and Integrate other MSC Agencies local Intranets 

• Identify and evaluate functional and technical needs arbitrate development decisions. 

• Promote SharePoint technologies best practices 

• Insure trainings within Agencies 

• Maintain functional or technical documentation 

• Build procedures and recommendations 

. 

Key Responsibilities : 

• As fast learner, adapt to several functional domains in a quick time 

• Use agile technics/methodologies to analyze, design, develop and implement web applications that are secured and compliant by design 

• Ensure quality of the code by writing unit testing 

• Collaborate with other Geneva team members to deliver, implement and support solutions 

• Contribute to the teamwork by helping colleagues when needed 

• Participate in proof of concepts when required 

• Troubleshoot user’s issues 

Additional Responsibilities:

• Remain current on trends and innovation in IT, Software and Middleware industry

SKILLS Required: 

• 3-5 years’ experience on SharePoint 

• 1-2 years Project management 

• HTML / CSS / JavaScript 

• jQuery 

• Angular or React 

• SharePoint Online administration 

• SPFx framework 

• REST API 

• PNP Powershell 

• REST API, Swagger, Postman 

• Azure: Azure AD, Azure DevOps, App Service 

• Sharegate 

• PnPjs (javascript library) 

• Webpack 

• SASS 

• Expert on SharePoint development and administration 

• Good command of Project management / Deadlines / Roll out 

• Strong knowledge of Office 365 solutions 

• Knowledge of Azure cloud solutions 

• Knowledge of software development life cycle 

• SharePoint Online 

• SharePoint Framework (SPFx) 

• Proven experience in IT development 

• Autonomous, proactive and rigorous 

• Commitment to tasks, deadline, delivery 

• Excellent Interpersonal/communication skills in English 

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously 

• Agile methodology (SCRUM)

• Additional language (French) is a plus 

PLACE OF WORK: Turin, Italy. 

WORK CONDITIONS: 

• Full-time contract, 40 hours per week.
