Today, ALTEN Belgium is a major player in Life Sciences (Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Biotechnologies) with 30 customers in Flanders. Our Life Sciences division is looking for new colleagues. As a Validation Engineer you will work on innovative products and technologies within the pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology and medical devices. Are you familiar with, or do you already have experience with validation and would you like to use and further develop these skills?

Then apply for this vacancy! We have opportunities for different types of validation projects: method-, process-, device- and product validation.

As a validation engineer, you will:

  • Perform or follow up on qualifications of processes and/or devices that are new to a production site (IQ/OQ/PQ)
  • Work on individual projects from start to end as well as group projects
  • Establish test protocols
  • Perform own qualification tests, follow them up and write the qualification report
  • Be responsible for the correct implementation of new systems at production sites
  • Be responsible for monitoring change controls and CAPAs
  • Process large amounts of data
  • Have a creative/problem-solving attitude
  • Work in a structured and proactive manner and think analytically
  • Participate in meetings with multiple departments (engineering, QA,...) on validation timelines and budgets, finding root causes and impact of failed tests, and more
Munkaköri követelmények
  • You have a Master or PhD degree, preferably in industrial engineering, bioengineering or pharmaceutical sciences
  • You already have practical experience within a GMP environment
  • You have good communication and social skills
  • You find it interesting to familiarize yourself with the process / technology
