Technology Analyst / Advisor

In all the work they rely on the integrity, insight, experience and skills of their team, and they are currently seeking a talented and highly motivated Technology Analyst / Advisor to be located in Chicago, USA or Aarhus, Denmark. Primary objectives ? Ensure the satisfaction of the company’s global client base through o Management or participation in customized advisory projects o Management or contribution to research publications including major Market Reports, Research Notes and Flash Notes ? Support sales and marketing activities of Research and Advisory products ? Support continuous improvement of internal data collection and knowledge management processes Primary tasks Support of Business Advisories ? Advisory projects are taken on in an ad-hoc basis and cover a wide breadth of potential deliverables including, but not limited to data discovery, competitive benchmarking, and strategy development on a global basis ? Project management will entail coordination of global resources including definition of project timelines, roles and responsibilities, data collection and aggregation requirements, slide development and client briefings ? Participation in advisory projects managed by other employees will require active data collection, aggregation and slide preparation in support of project deliverables ? Advisory projects often have extremely aggressive timelines and project deliverables must be addressed in a timely manner to ensure client satisfaction ? In addition to desktop research, collection of data frequently requires direct engagement of industry sources via teleconference, email and face to face meetings ? Advisory projects often require collection of sensitive data that must be protected to ensure confidentiality and anonymity of information sources are maintained at all times ? Ensure all aforementioned activities are completed accurately and with the highest level of quality Support of Research Publications ? Work closely with Global Research Director to take on the following activities per annual publication calendar: o Contribute and provide input to all current and future Research products that require technical/engineering analysis o Responsibility for the collection and analysis of any technical data to support Research publications o Responsibility for Annual Global Wind Turbine Trends Report o Responsibility for other appropriate Research Notes/Flash Notes as defined by the Research Director ? Ensure all aforementioned activities are completed accurately and with the highest level of quality Support of Sales and Marketing Activities ? Attendance and presentations at industry conferences and seminars is expected ? Participation in sponsored events is expected ? Support of direct sales may be required via teleconference and/or face to face client meetings Candidate Profile You hold a Master’s degree in Science, Engineering or similar and have at least three years’ experience in the wind industry, working for e.g. a wind turbine manufacturer, wind turbine component supplier, project developer, or utility. Fluency in oral and written English and comfort working against deadlines are essential. You are expecyted to have an analytical approach to the tasks, combined with a strategic mindset. You are an excellent networker and you possess excellent project management skills and are able to lead teams. Furthermore it is important that you are innovative, well-structured and able to systematize and elaborate presentable documentation.
