Our client develops high performance, low power mixed-signal integrated circuits for automotive and portable applications.
To strengthen our digital ASIC design team at Catena Radio design we are looking for a technical projects manager.

Job Description

We are searching a technical person that takes the lead in projects as well as in the management of the team (this is mainly coordinating the resources within the ASIC development team).

The team lead will do the performance appraisals of the team (together with the Operations Manager) and he/she will organize the meetings of the team cluster and will be the representative of the team. These are the most important aspects of the managerial role. The technical/project lead role is for them most important. In this way they keep the managerial overhead fairly limited (which is one of the strong points of Catena).

You are experienced in managing successful digital ASIC projects in mixed signal IC's. You will have to manage the relation with the technical ASIC team of the customer as well as to ensure, that you deliver with your project team in time with proper quality. A profound knowledge of the state-of-the-art ASIC design flow is a requirement; knowledge on signal processing is advantageous. Depending on the size of the project you will be responsible for more than one project at the same time and coordinate the resources within the ASIC development team.

 

Requirements

• M.S./Ph.D. with more than 5 years of experience in digital ASIC design and   several years of technical project management in the semiconductor   industry.
• Profound understanding of the state-of-the-art ASIC design flow.
• Able to find the right balance between a process oriented and a pragmatic   way of working.
• Driven personality being able to motivate a design team to meet the goals.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
