About the positions
Scandic Destination Nordkapp is back in business and we're hiring in all departments for the 2022 summer season.
The destination includes Scandic Bryggen, a small intimate boutique hotel; Scandic Honningsvåg, a well-known landmark in Norway's northernmost town and Nordkapphallen, the visitor center at the very top of Europe -- the North Cape Plateau.
We are looking for team members who can help us give our guests from all over the world a memorable visit to Nordkapp.
We are looking for multiple team members in the following positions, please note in your application which position(s) you are interested in:
Chefs
A la carte, breakfast and buffet at the hotels and Nordkapphallen
Service Employee; Front Office
Reception and information desk at the hotels and Nordkapphallen
Service Employee; Restaurant
A la carte, breakfast, group-dinner, café and bar at the hotels and Nordkapphallen
Service Employee; Gift Shop
Souvenir shop and Post Office at Nordkapphallen
Service Employee: Kitchen
Kitchen porter at the hotels and Nordkapphallen
Service Employee; Ticketing
Ticket sales and control at Nordkapphallen
Service Employee; Housekeeping
Housekeeping services at the hotels and Nordkapphallen
Service Employee; Technical
Technical departments and drivers at the hotels and Nordkapphallen
Skills and Requirements:
Because Scandic Destination Nordkapp welcomes visitors and team members from all over the world, all our team members must speak and write English. Skills in any Scandinavian language are preferred. Please note any additional language skills in your application.
All positions are subject to national, local and company restrictions for infection control.
Other requirements relevant to the positions are available upon request. If you have any special skills such as knowledge of OPERA Hotel systems, Micros POS, Certificate of Apprenticeship etc. please note this in your application.
All positions are seasonal with startup from early May to late June until mid-August to late September 2022. The position will also require work on evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.
Priority is given to internal candidates
