Xelvin Yacht & Shipbuilding is looking for several Structural engineers
sector : Yachting ( super yachts )
Location: The Netherlands
EU work permit required.

 

Structural Engineer

In this position you will make complex strength calculations with structural analysis software.
This off course according to the rules of classification societies and design –codes.

Also you will be responsible for analysis of noise and vibration issues.
Quality check related to N&V aspects on board.
You will perform calculations and prepare drawings concerning the loading and transportation of the yachts and structural components.
For this position you need knowledge and experience in rules and regulations of Classification societies ( Solas , PYC ,LY3 )
Knowledge / experience in systems, installations, outfitting and commissioning sequences.

Your Profile
Bachelor's degree in naval architecture and practical knowledge of naval architecture
Relevant work experience in a similar position;
Knowledge of yacht building is a must
Fluent in English;
Analytical and a team player.
