Meriläinen berry farm grows strawberries in Lieksa, North Karelia, Finland.
The farm is now looking for next summer energetic and hard-working strawberry pickers.
Jobs are available for 15 people in July-August for about 4-5 weeks, depending on the weather, and we hope you commit to the entire picking season. Work begins at dawn, continuing according to need and conditions. We hope for flexibility so that we can take care of our customers.
You can arrive in Lieksa by train or bus, and we will pick you up by car from the station to the farm. The farm has accommodation with basic facilities, and the cost of housing is 2.5 euros per day. Residents take care of household chores themselves. The nearby beach has fishing equipment and a few kayaks for leisure activities at the disposal of employees. The salary is by the Finnish Collective Agreement of Rural Industries, contract pay for strawberry picking, and hourly pay for other work.
