As part of a long-term partnership with our customer, a leading global manufacturer of microchip test systems, our teams are significantly involved in product development. Modern methods and processes such as Scrum, SAFe, aSPICE, CI and state-of-the-art tools and environments such as Linux, Eclipse IDE, OOP, C++, Java, Python, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence are used.



Our team in Böblingen is growing. We are looking for qualified and motivated software engineers (m/f/x) with good knowledge in OO-concepts, C++ programming and basics of electronics or digital signals.



For this position, we can only consider applicants who are already living in Germany or other European country, due to timely urgency.





Software Engineer OO/C++ Digital Instruments (m/f/x)





Your responsibilities:

· You will be ramped into the software area Common-Digital and will learn about the digital hardware boards of the chip test system. For this purpose, we will provide you with an experienced employee as mentor

· Very soon you will be given your first software development tasks, in that context you will also get to know the entire software development cycle

· Step by step you will take over more complex tasks in the Scrum team, you will design, program and test functions for the control and measurement of signals on the digital cards

· Writing, executing and test code to verify the functionality of software is also part of your tasks

· You will work together with experts from the embedded and hardware teams to integrate software and hardware



Your profile:

· You have completed your university studies in the field of computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or related disciplines quickly and with good success

· In a first professional assignment, you gained practical experience in software development using OO-concepts implemented in C++

· You have successfully demonstrated the ability to understand and develop complex software modules

· You have knowledge in the field of digital signal processing and electronic circuits

· You are a strong team player, your communication skills are excellent

· You have good German language skills (at least C1 level) and very good English language skills
