Shiftleader (Early/Late)

As a Shift leader at Melexis, you manage one of the 2 early/late shifts in our Final Test department in order to process the right products based on customer requirements in accordance with the company’s targets for customer orientation, quality, productivity and efficiency. More specifically, you will

• Be responsible for a team of approximately 25 people (operators and technicians) and their development
• Plan, organize and monitor the testing and documentation activities in order to ensure that the goods leave the manufacturing area according to the defined flow and methods, required volume outputs, quality specifications and correct administration
• Plan, organize and monitor activities related to scheduling, producing, maintaining in order to ensure optimal usage of capacity.
• Follow-up on the manufacturing results and evaluate the procedures and processes used, in order to propose and contribute to improvements in due time that will safeguard the achievement of the business objectives
• Communicate and cooperate with other shifts and other departments in order to ensure integration of information and practices into their mutual activities.

Profile:

• a Bachelor degree in Electromechanics, Electronics or a related field or equivalent by experience
• experience in successfully coaching a production team
• Willingness to work in the weekend shift
• effective communication skills in English
