You can be situated in either Nice (France) or Smoerum (Denmark) depending on your preferences. You secure a strong commercial angle In your new job as Product Manager you will be part of our growing Cochlear Implant Marketing Group lead by a Senior Director and consisting of three Marketing Project Managers (and soon two Senior Product Managers). The different teams are located in France, Denmark and Sweden and you will be engaged in an ongoing dialogue with all of them. Your primary responsibility will be to secure a strong commercial angle in new product developments as well as the current product portfolio for our Sound processor product range. You can look forward to a wide variety of challenging and rewarding tasks, but summed up, your main responsibilities can be divided into four areas: •Represent the market and patient focus in the internal R&D process from road-maps and target specifications, through development to finished product and post market follow up •Define product positioning, develop and manage an efficient execution of high quality product campaigns and other product communication in line with company strategy and objectives •Provide markets and the rest of the organisation with support in terms of technical product knowledge and data, messages/arguments through product training, presentations and daily support •Ensure up-to-date market intelligence and competitor knowledge •There will be travel activities to both to our offices in Denmark, France and Sweden as well as to all local markets, events and customer meetings Solid experience with marketing in a Med-Tech context The main challenge in this job is to further strengthen Oticon Medical’s CI product offering, marketing efforts and market impact. Thus, it is crucial that you are able to collaborate with both product development and the sales organization in all stages of the product life cycle from first phases of development to post market. You possess strong communication skills and a very high level of technical understanding which allows you to discuss advanced details with R&D and transform technical product information into illustrated science for professionals and easy to understand patient communication. In order to be able to perform in this set-up, it is vital that you have at least 5 years’ of experience from marketing and/or product management, preferably from a global enterprise in the MedTech industry. If you have direct experience with audiology, this will be weighted highly. As a person, you are characterized by your flexibility and strong business focus. You have good communication skills and are the kind of person who makes things happen while maintaining the focus on teamwork.
