Senior Controller

Can you combine your solid experience in business controlling with sales performance and develop and implement sales controlling processes in a global context? Then you could be our new Senior Controller at Danfoss Heating Solutions. We are a world leading provider of Heating Solutions and develop e.g. radiator thermostats, floor heating, and heat pumps. Heating solutions is represented globally with sales worldwide and production in nine countries.You will become part of the Heating Solutions and Business Int. Finance department that consists of a team of ten committed controllers and senior controllers who support the Heating Solutions organisation. Controlling, developing and maintaining reporting and KPIs in sales You will develop and create this position in close collaboration with the Senior Finance Director in order to ensure controlling and analysis of the sales companies’ performance and support the Heating Solutions sales organisation in terms of financial topics related to rolling forecasts, perspectives, budget, plus develop and measure relevant KPIs. Other key areas of responsibility are to: •actively follow up monthly on financial performance through analysis •develop the management information system for structured overview and follow up on trends •support and follow up on the implementation of business cases in sales •develop and maintain valid financial reporting and KPIs •act as sparring partner for the regional sales directors throughout the organisation At all times, you focus on providing correct and valid reports for decision making and as such you will have a unique opportunity to build a wide network across the Danfoss organisation. A strong analytic capacity with sound interpersonal skills You have solid experience as a business controller working with controlling of several sales companies from a large international company, and you hold a BSc or MSc in finance, accounting, economics or business administration. Ideally you are familiar with Hyperion Financial Management and SAP. You have analytic capabilities second to none which enables you to overview a global matrix organisation, and you are willing to go the extra mile to secure the results. You have sound interpersonal skills and are comfortable in an environment which requires both the ability to challenge and support your business partners at all levels of the organisation.
