Senior Asset Integrity Specialist (Mechanical)
Do you have extensive mechanical knowledge and would you like to be at the heart of a fast-moving operations department? Join us and become Senior Asset Integrity Specialist (Mechanical) in our Mechanical Team in WTG Integrity Management. Together with four colleagues you will be the primary specialist in mechanical operational issues. Your tasks will range from deep-dive failure analysis projects to providing service and insights to our customers. The department is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world's largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility You perform work on our entire portfolio of wind turbines, including wind turbines from many major suppliers. Your tasks will ensure optimum operation and the best possible lifetime of the mechanical components in the turbines. These components include main components as well as auxiliary equipment such as hydraulic equipment and structural equipment. To ensure structured and well-documented WTG operation, you will work with asset integrity management systems (ISO 55000). Technical risk registers and maintenance procedures form the backbone of your work on optimising WTG integrity. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •ensure component integrity through correct maintenance and operational strategy •drive downtime and lifetime-related projects and activities on mechanical issues •provide operational component insights to relevant stakeholders •manage the development of systems required for optimal operation •provide mechanical understanding and insights to key stakeholders. Your profile You have a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or similar. In addition, you have 3-5 years of experience with mechanical engineering. This can be from either a design or service perspective. Wind turbine experience is an advantage, but is not a requirement. You have experience using reliability tools, preferably Six Sigma (DMAIC). You have a strong technical understanding and a desire to work as a specialist. As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently. It is an advantage if you speak and write Danish as well. In addition, you are able to create excellent results through teamwork and develop good relationships with your colleagues and external partners.
