Company Description:
Our client a leading Engineering and Construction company with contracts nationwide and, due to expansion, they are looking for a Junior Quality Advisor to join their team.
Reporting to Senior Quality Advisor you will be responsible for:
" Working alongside the Snr Quality advisor in the planning and managing of the Quality Management System across within the Ross group.
" Developing Quality and Inspection for specific projects.
" Conducting Pre-Project start audits on all projects to assess the readiness of the site team to complete the project.
" Conducting weekly/monthly audits on all active projects.
" Conducting inspections and audits to ensure procedures are aligned with the client's requirements.
" Preparing Quality Presentations as part of the Tendering process.
" Preparing all Quality documentation for the monthly management meetings.
" Conducting and presenting analysis.
" Develop Quality Improvement programmes to enhance the Quality Systems.
" Assurance / Control of BCAR Regulation to ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual requirements and defined criteria.
" Monitoring / Control of corrective actions and their causes.
" Quality Toolbox Talks / Induction to employees
Candidate Requirements:
" A relevant 3rd Level Qualification in Engineering/Science Discipline or similar.
" Experience working in a Quality position in a construction/engineering environment.
" Quality Management Systems experience, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001. ISO 13485 an advantage.
" Understand the principles and practices of Lean Construction.
" Ability to write technical documents, routine quality reports, project correspondence.
" Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required with the ability to develop strong and positive working relationships with project stakeholders.
" Extensive experience in using the MS Office Suite for reporting and analysis data.
" A proven track record of working on one's own initiative with minimum supervision on site environment is a distinct advantage.
