Penetration Tester

Job Description:

Novabase is seeking a Senior Security Tester (Web Services). You will be part of Security Testing Team of multiples devices and webservices.

You will focus on testing and evaluating the security of web services (creating and executing testing plan, reporting the found vulnerabilities) and other tasks.

This job opportunity is for Belgium (Brussels).

Profile:

Desired Skills and Experience

University degree in Computer science or similar;

+5 years of experience as Security Consultant (Web Services, Applications, Systems);

Deep knowledge of web technologies and vulnerabilites: HTML5, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, XML, JSON, jQuery, Tomcat, and others;

Extensive experience with pentesting Web Services;

Experience with network and web scanning tools like Qualis, Nessus, Acunetix,  or Appscan;

Good knowledge of network protocols and network protection techniques (firewalls, filtering, other) and methods to attack them;

Experience with Python, Java, and/or SQL;

Experience with shell scripting;

Experience with doing security reviews of architectures, designs and code with the purpose of finding security flaws and/or risk full coding approaches;

Strong command of English.
