Are you our new colleague at the ENT department in Sandnessjøen?
At the ENT department, there is now a 100% permanent position available for senior specialist. Helgelandssykehuset, location Sandnessjøen, has approximately 70 beds, divided into surgical, medical, maternity/gynecological and rehabilitation wards.
The ENT department is organized as an outpatient clinic and does not have it's own bed list, but uses beds in the day surgery department. For emergency admissions, a surgical bed post is used. The ENT department has 3 permanently employed senior doctors and a license for LIS doctor. The main place of work will be in Sandnessjøen, but some ambulation to other places in Helgeland must be expected.
The department has a close collaboration with larger hospitals such as Nordlandssykehuset in Bodø and the University Hospital of Northern Norway in Tromsø.
Sandnessjøen is centrally located on the beautiful Helgeland coast, in a scenic area with good opportunities for leisure and sporting activities, as well as a varied cultural life (www.visithelgeland.no). The municipality has good nursery coverage. The city is a traffic hub for the coast of Helgeland, and has direct flights to Oslo and Trondheim from Sandnessjøen Airport, as well as Hurtigruten connections, express boats and buses to the railway.

- Good communication skills in a scandinavic language, in writing and orally, both in meetings with colleagues and patients
- You have good collaboration skills
