In our institution, as in all flemish (the Dutch speaking part of Belgium) institutions, people work together in a multidisciplinair team with nurses, caring assistants, ergotherapists, fysiotherapists, ... in a home replacing settlement for 12-15 residents.

· Nursing/caring assistants are responsible of the daily care for the residents (helping to wash or to help to eat), helping with day-time activities with residents. The accent of the job is the general care for the resident and the relationship with the family, doctors, and other caretakers.

Vzw Veilige Have is one of the larger independent Christian based institutions in Belgium in the sector of caring for elderly people.

It is located in the small city of Aalter between Bruges and Ghent on one single site where housing and caring is organised for over 360 elderly persons, in a variety of caring solutions according to the people’s needs.

The activities vary from day-care at the institution or at the people’s own house, service apartments on the campus, to intensive caring for people with physical or neurological insufficiencies.

In Veilige Have we work with 250 colleagues, nurses, nursing assistants, fysiotherapists, occupational therapists, people in logistic departments (house-keeping, kitchen, administration).

At this moment there are already 6 spanish nurses working in Veilige Have since September 2012.

We offer:

Salary: min. 1984.0 euro - max. 2738.0 euro gross/month

Full time - part time is possible (only on demand) - 38 hours/week

Working week: 5 days/week - if work during weekend, then extra days off during the week, no night shifts

Prestations Saturday : +26%, Sunday : +56%
