Minivan Driver & Tour Guide / Tour Guide

TuriAzores is now looking for a Minivan Driver & Tour Guide, or just Tour Guide.

Main responsibilities:

• drive Minivan organized excursions
• tour guide on the hiking tours (information supplied by us)
• explain all about the Island and Azores archipelago (culture, tradition, curiosities) (information / previous training supplied by us)
• be a cheerful and entertaining host

Required profile:

• upper secondary school or Tourism / Life Sciences University degree
• minimum 2 years working within the area of touristic tours
• fluent in English speaking; German or French are highly valued
• basic Portuguese speaking
• at least B cat. driving license for more than 2 years
• basic vehicle servicing skills 

TuriAzores offers:

• minimum 6 months contract (from March to August)
• 800 euros gross per month
• company mobile phone for work usage
• meals during working hours are included
• half day or full day work
• day off can vary according to schedule rotation
• support in finding accommodation in the nearby area
