Newtec A/S are looking for a creative mechanical engineer to develop new machines and refine existing machines. You will report to the Managing Director and join a skilled development team who take pride in their work and are passionate about making machines. You will have independent responsibility for weighing and packaging machine development projects and your primary duties will be:
•Front end development projects, mechanical construction designs and project management
•Customization/re-engineering projects
•Cooperation with other functions and with external parties and customers
•Practical implementation of designs/design for manufacturing, assembly and maintenance
•Commercial understanding of the design/cost implications of different designs
•Contributing to the further development and optimization of knowledge and project organization
You are a creative mechanical engineer with minimum five years’ experience in developing mechanical designs, preferably weighing/packaging machines or similar, and you have experience with machines for processed food and design for manufacturing. You have experience with project management and 3D CAD, and experience with FEM analysis would be an advantage. You want to work in an international company culture.
As a person, you are a team player with good communication skills; you have already demonstrated your strong analytical and technical skills with a positive and proactive approach, and can keep a cool head in hectic situations. You are also fluent in written and spoken English and a reasonable level in German will be an advantage.
