An important step of the way is to provide retrofit solutions to our clients, who are increasingly looking to operate more efficiently and on more environmentally friendly fuels such as LNG, Ethane, LPG, Methanol, biofuels, or Ammonia.

What am I going to do?

To secure our future growth according to a clear strategy on de-carbonization and strong customer focus we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager for our Retrofit Department, where you will be responsible for sales of large capital retrofit projects enabling our customer’s fleets to deliver on new environmental regulations and societies demand for more environmentally friendly supply chains.

The projects will build on our newly developed state of the art high value PVU standard products (Pump Vaporizer Unit) – developed by from MAN Energy Solutions in Copenhagen - enabling the customers to utilize other fuels in existing installations/ships.

As Sales Manager you will be project managing several projects during the entire sales / negotiation process. You will be leading MAN PrimeServ’s daily dialog with our customers on the sales projects you are engaged in.

On daily basis you will be part of a sales team consisting 8 skilled and highly motivated colleagues which are backed by a number of product managers and other specialists.

It will be your responsibility to develop bids jointly with tender managers and product managers and secure that MAN PrimeServ customers understand our value proposition and scope of supply. Finally you will participate in international negotiation meetings. 

More specifically you can look forward to an exciting job consisting of:

  • Active participation in negotiation and proposing high value retrofit projects to global customers
  • Developing answers to customers request for retrofit projects
  • Doing project pricing in cooperation tender managers and product managers
  • Doing customer visits and travels approx. 60 days/year
  • Qualifying leads together with the rest of the sales team

You will likewise be responsible for creating and maintaining customer relations and securing a close cooperation with our local sales team in our international group companies.

Who am I?

You combine your technical insight with a flair for sales and clients. You enjoy the close interaction with clients, and you understand the process and complexity of larger capital sales.

On a more professional note, we imagine that our new colleague:

  • Commercial/technical educational background relevant degree on a B.Sc. or M.Sc. level
  • Experience with complex and solution sales of capital projects
  • Contract negotiations and content
  • Sales oriented with a strong commercial flair
  • You are self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Fluent in English both oral and in writing
  • Able to communicate and on all levels in an international environment and be authoritative when needed

It will be an advantage if you have offshore, maritime or power plant experience, though this is not a prerequisite.

How is my new team?

You will be joining the Retrofit & Upgrade department in PrimeServ Denmark, currently counting 55 staff, having undergone significant growth during the last 5 years, which is set to continue with the growing focus on decarbonizing shipping.

On daily basis you will be a valuable part of a sales team consisting 8 colleagues which are backed by a number of product managers and other specialists.

You will be working from our Danish head office just by Copenhagen’s harbour front at Teglholmsgade 41.
